The department of Botany, Cotton University, Guwahati will be inaugurating its Centenary Year Celebration on 22nd July 2026, commemorating the establishment of the department on 22nd July, 1927. The inauguration ceremony will feature Centenary inaugural speech “Botany of Hundred Springs” by renowned academician and former Vice Chancellor of Gauhati University Prof. Arupjyoti Chowdhury, invited as Guest speaker.
