About

Dr. Jayati Das is an Associate Professor in the Department of Botany, Cotton University, Assam. She holds her PG and M.Phil degrees with specialization in Plant Ecology from Gauhati University, Assam. Her research at the M.Phil level focused on pollution studies in an urban area. However, her area of research for her doctoral thesis was Bloom Ecology. The degrees not only equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of her field but also instilled in her a strong analytical mindset and critical thinking abilities. Her area of interest is Plant Ecology with specific interest on Ruderal Ecology, Invasive Ecology and Restoration Ecology.

In addition to her M.Phil & Ph.D degrees, Dr. Das holds a B.Ed degree, which further enhances her expertise as an educator. This qualification provides her with a solid foundation in pedagogical methods, educational psychology, and curriculum design. It equips her with the necessary tools to effectively engage students, tailor instructional approaches, and create meaningful learning experiences. Through her work, she seeks to bridge the gap between theory and practice, exploring ways to enhance teaching and learning outcomes in various educational contexts.
