About

My research work emanated from excessive utilization of endangered medicinal plants that triggered the necessity of conservation. I mainly focus on the endangered medicinal plants affected by dormant period of seeds and embryo spoilage fungi. I have been using plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) for priming of seeds, chemicals/hormones in addressing these issues. Apart from research work, I am actively involved and very interested in teaching, motivating and mentoring students to transmit up-to-date curriculum information, to trigger the desire to explore the new endeavor, to assist in solving problems, and to guide for proper path with the aim to make student a successful human being. I had cleared SLET (2011) and completed M.Phil (2012) from Gauhati University.
